Who We Are
We Are So Grateful For The Gift Of Salvation
Everything we do revolves around three principles: worshiping the God of the gospel, growing in grace together as a church, and communicating the changeless Christ to the culture.
Our Mission
To worship the God of the gospel, to grow in our grace together as a church, and to communicate the changeless Christ to the changing culture.
Our Values
While every Christian church shares a faith in Jesus Christ, each congregation has a unique set of people serving in leadership. The gifts and talents of that team give each congregation its own “flavor.” We believe that our values connect us with the historic christian faith and at the same time give expression to the unique leadership team here at new life.
Biblical
Scriptures are the infallible authority and define everything we say and do.
Unity
We pursue unity over efficiency and leading through consensus.
Respect
We esteem and embrace everyone as image bearers of God.
Humility
We count others more important than ourselves.
Integrity
Truth and grace define and drive all that we do.
Service
Everyone uses his/her God-given gifts and skills to serve others.
Excellence
We seek excellence in everything we do.

After law school, he joined O’Melveny & Myers and practiced there for 14 years, the last five as a Partner. Ted resigned from O’Melveny in 1997 and enrolled at Westminster Seminary California in Escondido. He graduated in 2000 and served as the Pastor of Adult Ministries at Voyagers Bible Church in Irvine. After a year in that role, Ted received the call from New Life to be its Senior Pastor. The love of Ted’s life is his wife, Linda. They together take great joy in their family – daughter, Sarah, and son, Jim – who with their spouses have added beautiful grandchildren to the mix. Ted loves the outdoors and is passionate about fly fishing, backpacking and skiing.
